PCO LICENCE APPLICATION
PCO stands for the Public Carriage Office, a Department of Transport for London (TfL), responsible for issuing private-hire licences. For your Complete Peace of Mind, our experienced trainer will take you through the process from start to finish.
A person who wants to drive a private hire minicab must have a PCO licence. Before making the application, the applicant needs to make sure that he/she holds a DVLA licence for at least three years. They also need to make sure they have a clean and current licence. A person cannot get a licence without having at least 3 years of driving experience. After gaining the 3 years of experience the process begins with apply for the PCO licence by filling in the application form. There is a fee associated with the application form. The form must be submitted with documents and certificates which we will go through with you.
It is also important for the applicant to have good knowledge in English. if required we can help the you to clear the B1 English test conducted by PCO.
The process requires an applicant to fill in the PCO driver application form, book a topographical test and pass the test, have a B1 English certificate and medical check to confirm the applicant is fit for work. We will help with all aspects of this process.
Requirement to get PCO Licence:
- Over 21 Years Old
- You must have the right to live and work in the UK
- You must hold a full DVLA, Northern Ireland, or other EEA state driving license that’s minimum 3 years or older.
- Meet DVLA Group 2 medical Standard
- DBS (CRB) Check
- Pass the Topographical Test
- Pass English language Test (B1)
